Driver's License & Registration

1 Can two people really ride the E-Chopper City?
Yes - the E-Chopper City is the only e-chopper in our fleet officially approved for two people. It has a full-fledged passenger seat with grab handles. The maximum load capacity is 215 kg.
2 Which driver's license do I need for the E-Chopper City?
You need at least a Class AM driver's license (from 15 years old) or a regular Class B car driver's license. You do not need a motorcycle license.
3 How far can the E-Chopper City travel on one battery charge?
The E-Chopper City achieves a range of up to 65–95 km per charge – depending on total weight, riding style, and terrain. With two people it's approx. 65 km, alone up to 95 km. The battery charges in approx. 4–5 hours from a standard household socket.
4 Do I have to register the E-Chopper City with the Department of Motor Vehicles?
No. You only register the vehicle with a car insurance company and receive an insurance license plate (approx. €40-80/year). No TÜV, no vehicle title, no registration office. All COC documents are supplied with the vehicle.
5 How does the delivery work?
Delivery is by freight forwarding, free of charge within Germany, in 3–5 business days. We will arrange a delivery date with you in advance. The vehicle is delivered largely pre-assembled – handlebars, mirrors and mudguards need to be installed, which takes about 5–45 minutes. Video instructions are included.
