At E-Streetbikes, quality, safety, and transparency are our top priorities. Should a problem arise, we will address it reliably and with a focus on solutions.

1. Statutory Warranty (24 months)

All E-Choppers purchased from us are subject to the statutory warranty of 24 months from the vehicle's handover.

The warranty covers:

  • Material defects
  • Manufacturing defects

Within the statutory period, claims exist for:

  • Rectification (repair)
  • or replacement delivery

If rectification or replacement delivery is not possible or disproportionate, the statutory rights to reduction or withdrawal apply.

Note: Within the first 12 months, it is legally presumed that any defect that occurs already existed at the time of handover.

2. Voluntary E-Streetbikes Guarantee

In addition to the statutory warranty, we provide a voluntary manufacturer's guarantee of 24 months on the frame against material and construction defects with proper use.

3. Battery – Function Guarantee

The battery comes with a function guarantee of 6 months from the vehicle's handover.

It covers technical defects that are not due to improper use.

Not covered are, in particular:

  • Natural loss of capacity
  • Deep discharge
  • Storage at extreme temperatures (above 50°C or below -20°C)
  • Water damage or moisture exposure
  • Use of unapproved chargers
  • Physical damage

Note: Lithium batteries are subject to a natural decrease in performance over the course of use. This does not constitute a warranty claim.

4. Wear and Tear Parts

The following parts are considered typical wear and tear parts and are excluded from the guarantee if the defect is due to normal use:

  • Brake pads
  • Brake discs
  • Tires
  • Chain and sprockets
  • Bearings and seals
  • Cables
  • Grips
  • Saddle
  • Battery capacity loss
5. Requirements for Warranty Claims

A warranty claim is valid only under the following conditions:

  • Proper use
  • Adherence to maintenance instructions as per the operating manual
  • Use of approved spare and wear parts
6. Warranty Exclusion

The warranty expires in particular in the event of:

  • Tuning or manipulation of the motor, controller, or software
  • Unauthorized modifications
  • Commercial use (e.g., rental, delivery services)
  • Improper maintenance
  • Accident, force majeure, or external influence
7. Important Note

These warranty conditions do not limit statutory rights, particularly warranty claims and claims under the Product Liability Act.
