frequently asked Questions

Do I need a driving license?

Yes, to operate one of our e-choppers you must be at least 16 years old and have a scooter license (class AM). Alternatively, a car license (class B) from the age of 18 is sufficient.

How do I charge the battery?

You can remove the battery from your e-chopper / e-scooter with one hand and conveniently charge it in your home using any household socket.

Charging on the vehicle is also possible.

How much does it cost?

The running costs are very manageable

  • Insurance: approx. 60€ per year
  • License plate: one-time approx. €20
  • Electricity costs: approx. 1€ per 100km
  • Taxes: All choppers are tax-free
  • No TÜV / DEKRA necessary

How do I register my vehicle?

E-choppers are vehicles that do not require registration, so the vehicles do not have to be registered with the registration authority.

But even if your vehicle does not need registration, you still need valid insurance cover. You can, for example, insure your e-chopper with the insurance company you trust, and you will receive your license plate there after taking out the insurance.

To conclude the contract you only need the supplied COC/EEC document, which is located in the battery compartment of your vehicle.
